“Self Therapy” is a journey through yourself emanating directly from the heart and soul. In this stunning new full length album Beyond Helvete crosses various styles of rock and metal. Lyric contents mainly came from psychic matters in a negative and misanthropic view following the composer’ deep artistic mind.
“Self Therapy” is purely emotional music creating deep and dark atmosphere, alternating monotonous structures as well as powerful and fresh riffing and drumming.
These sound-waves will bring you from the struggle inside yourself into a final calm catharsis; the alchemical harmony of Black Metal, rocking wall of sound, depressive/curative touch will leave the listener with a sense of unforgettable trance-state.

It's the keyboards which shouldn't work. They are very prominent in the mix & at times even overwhelm other instruments. But it works perfectly & that is kind of the concept, right? Once I got past that initial barrier, this album just opened up. Borgne aren't easy to pin down & sit way outside the typical metal subgenre tags. Listen to the unsettling epicness of "Un temps périt" to see what I mean. It is ugly, beautiful & deathly all at once. And yet everything is held by those OTT keys. Nice. bcb723

I pretty much consider this project to be the true heir of early Burzum. Nothing is too predictable. I find myself more excited to investigate a new album from this band than most others, which is normally not the case with ambient or drone artists. Of course as a black metal entity they’re great too. The latest for Avantgarde, Interstellar Enigmatic Throne, is a masterpiece and very different from this one. Metallurgical Fire
